Social Networking ... on a mobile phone!

[this is good]
I hear ya! I haven't seen anything good yet, but it can't be too far off. In particular, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Dustin Moskovitz from Facebook has something promising to say in his CTIA keynote.
Hi Atif,

Look forward to working with you on these very same issues. In moving from my previous job to Nokia, I am a living use case for storing your social address book in the cloud so that it can be transported to my new environment. I look forward to a world where it doesn't matter what device you use to access your social graph, where everything is there, in context, no matter which site, mobile device, or computer you use. Am I a dreamer?

I think you should take a look at Palm Pre and the way Web OS integrates social networking/messaging. Email or realtime connectivity (who's online or not - connected anyhow) is pretty key. Also in some enterprise environments I see a big trend for "posting" vs direct communications as there are many recipients for the message anyhow. Just few thoughts. Catch me in the office sometime and lets discuss more :-)
